Rain

San Francisco has been getting flooded with rain, pretty much continuously, since I got back on December 26th. Yes, weeks and weeks of rain. The good news is that in another month or so, the rain will stop and won't come back again until the Fall. In the meantime, there is some beauty to the rain, even if my shoes are constantly soaked. I shot this a few hours ago from the window of my apartment:

Over the Christmas holidays, I spent an afternoon at my grandparents' house scanning old photos my grandmother had saved for me. With my newfound infatuation with old photos, I was pretty pumped to stumble onto this site, featuring photographs from the Arkansas State Prison 1915-1937.
